Jeff Bland, chairman of the Rolleston 150th organising committee, said he was "rapt" with the event, which included a large parade through the town on Sunday.

Beaumont Park news

Kendon Drive Works

Construction of the Kendon Drive works is progressing well with roads and pavements to be fully asphalted by the end of February 17 and Titles issued mid to late April 17.

Council have agreed to install a playground and further landscaping to the park on Lawrence Drive in Beaumont Park. McConnell Property are currently procuring these works with the aim of completing these by June 2017.
